Here at Petoskey Church of Christ, we want you to know that we understand trying out a new church can be initimidating, and we want to put your mind at ease. At PCOC, EVERYONE is welcome, regardless of background, experience, past experience with religion, or any other factor might be nervious about. Our congregation is incredibly diverse in age, culture, background, and pretty much every other category you can think of, but we have one thing in common — We all want to share the grace and mercy of Christ with ALL the families and community around us.

What to Expect at PCOC

We understand visiting a new church can be daunting. At Petoskey Church of Christ, we strive to make your experience as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Our community is here to support you on your spiritual journey, offering a warm and inclusive environment for everyone.

What should I wear?

Wear a suit, wear your sweatpants, wear a dress or wear your scrubs — As long as it’s appropriate, we just want you here!

What is the service like?

Our service starts at 10:30am every Sunday with live instrumental music with our Worship Team, followed by prayer time and the weekly sermon from Pastor Lance. We take communion together as a church at the end of every service, and we highly recommend you come a little early and stay a little late to meet and really experience the close-knit family we have here! Service generally gets out between 11:30am-12pm.

How can I get more involved?

The best way to get involved is just to show up! We are incredibly active in our community and active in fellowship within the church, so there is NO shortage of opportunities tobecome part of the family and give back to the community and church! You can also feel free to reach out directly if you have specific talents or services you interested in contributing, or with suggestions on how we can do more as a church!
